Charlene Rush, 91, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, October 18th, 2007 while in the company of family members. She was born August 15, 1916 to Austin and Mable Kerby in French Lick, IN. She worked as a long distance operator at Indiana Bell Telephone for 25 years before retiring in 1981. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Howard W.; son, Donald W.; sister, Rosemary Buffington; grandchildren, Donnie, Billy John, and Crissy; great grandchildren, CJ and Carlee; and caregiver, Betty. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Donald Kerby.Funeral Service will be at Christians United Soldiers Memorial Chapel, 5626 Lawton Loop East Dr., Indianapolis, IN, at 11AM on Monday, October 22nd, with visitation one hour prior to service.
